A HERITAGE OF HOPE AND HELP: bringing new life into the world
Hadassah’s historic commitment to prenatal and maternity care has played an important role in Israel’s dedication to maternal and infant health.
Once considered to be the most spacious and developed hospital in Jerusalem, the Delivery Department at Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus could accommodate 3000 births annually. In the past year more than 6,000 babies were born and this demand is expected to increase by 15% each year through 2025 as Jerusalem's population expands.
TODAY we have the opportunity to help EQUIP A MODERN, EXPANDED DELIVERY DEPARTMENT that reflects the 21st century standard of care that we provide to our mothers and their newborn babies!
The Goal of our Region Campaign is to raise the $12,000 needed to purchase a maternal birthing bed and a neonatal warming bed.
Lower New York State is so fortunate to have received a Matching Gift from an anonymous donor that will match, dollar for dollar, your donations up to the first $6,000.
Launching on Mother’s Day and extending through October.
Your donations will help new mothers bring precious new life into the world in a modern, spacious, comfortable facility. You will ensure that the next generation states with pride, “I was born at Hadassah”.
