We are proud to present acclaimed author Talia Carner, who will discuss her latest book "The Boy with the Star Tattoo."

It is an epic historical novel spanning postwar France as Youth Aliyah agents search for surviving Jewish orphaned children to bring them home to Israel. We follow the boy with the star tattoo, born in France in the early 1940’s, to 1968, where he is the current Israeli naval officer in charge of a secret naval operation in Cherbourg, France. We are on the cusp of a major international incident as a fleet of Israeli owned ships, built by a French company, are placed under an embargo. With her extraordinary storytelling ability, Talia weaves these stories together as history takes place before your very eyes.
