Don’t miss this in-person, wonderful opportunity SHARING and learning together with women of Hadassah Metro. We are honored to WELCOME Incoming Hadassah National President, Carol Ann Schwartz. The PURPOSE of this day is to provide you with an exciting lineup of presentations and workshops focused on Hadassah’s work in medicine in ISRAEL. Over lunch you will have an opportunity to CONNECT with leaders. In the afternoon the choices of workshops will ENGAGE and enable you to bring information and programs back to your chapters.

In the morning there will be an HMO Session: Delivering Hope
Hear the latest from ISRAEL presented by Dr. Samer Michael, pediatric surgeon at HMO and Dr. Stacey Maslow, pediatrician and HMO Vice Chair

In the afternoon you can attend two of the three afternoon workshops:
1. Have Your Voice Heard
Information on the importance of advocating will be SHARED by Risa Levine, attorney practicing in NY and a leader in advocacy on the State and Federal levels and Mindy Gensler, attorney working for the New Jersey Department of Labor.
Moderated by: Lauren Katz, Associate Director of the Education & Advocacy Division.

2. The Impact of Antisemitism on our Youth
ENGAGE in a discussion with Sarali Cohen, the Engagement Associate at Tanger Hillel of Brooklyn College and Joyce Laiter, Antisemitism Co Chair in the Education & Advocacy Division.
Moderated by: Judy Shereck, Zionist Affairs Advocacy Chair in the Education & Advocacy Division.


3. Connecting Food to Family History
Sylvia Bigar, author of Cassoulet Confessions: Food, France, Family and the Stew That Saved My Soul will share some insights that led her to CONNECT with her family history and write this book.
Moderated by: Marcia Weller, a member of the Planning Committee.
