Ruth Gursky is passionate about Hadassah, the international nonprofit organization that supports two world renowned hospitals and Youth Aliyah Villages in Israel and programs in the United States. As President of the New York Region, Ruth managed the strategic annual plan and budget for programming, fundraising and membership initiatives for over 6,500 volunteer members, surpassed fundraising goals and promoted a cadre of young volunteers onto the Region’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. After her service as Region President, Ruth continued to served the organization, holding a variety of national portfolios including: Vice Chair of the Data Analysis & Impact Committee, Member of the National Youth Aliyah, Advocacy and Major Gifts Teams and Co Chair of the National Center of Attorneys Councils. As a longtime member of the National Speakers’ Bureau, she continues to represent Hadassah at speaking engagements in the northeast area. Ruth is proud to be a member of the Hadassah’s National Board.

Ruth is also an attorney in her own practice, handling residential real estate closings, wills and
estates. In addition, she is a certified Personal Trainer and Running Coach who brings her captivating energy and enthusiasm to help clients of all ages achieve their wellness, weight loss and/or running goals. Her simple philosophy of life is: “If I can do it, so can you!
