Join us for a discussion of Signal Fires by Dani Shapiro. The story of two families, a teenager’s lie, events on two fateful nights and the impact on the lives of each main character across time. A
compassionate tale of the havoc that secrets can have on the people who keep them.
A well-known memoirist, Dani Shapiro returns to fiction with Signal Fires. This is her first novel since Inheritance, her last memoir. Both books won the National Jewish Book Award. She is currently working on developing Signal Fires for its television adaptation.
There is no charge to attend but a donation of $10, $18, or $36 to benefit Youth Aliyah is appreciated.
