Meet the author, Riva Lehrer, when she discusses her extraordinary and compelling memoir, Golem Girl. Born with spina bifida, Riva overcame physical and societal challenges to triumph and become an extraordinary force helping establish Disability Culture. A gifted visual artist and talented writer, Riva shares her story in this poignant memoir teaching all of us to see people for their gifts they bring to others rather than for their physical being.
