Join Hadassah Nassau to learn what makes Jewish genealogy different!

Hear from guest speaker Nolan Altman about the unique challenges and advantages of Jewish genealogical research. His presentation will explain what makes Jewish genealogy different from other ethnic groups.

Nolan Altman has been involved with Jewish genealogical research since he wrote his own family history, Altman Family Ties, in 1996. Nolan joined his local genealogical society, the Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island, in 2003. He served as Treasurer from 2004 through 2011 and then became President in 2012. Nolan was elected to the Board of the IAJGS (International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies) in 2009 and continues to serve as chair of the Membership Committee.

All are welcome to attend.
