Michelle is Hadassah's National Treasurer, serves on its Executive Committee, and is a Director of Hadassah International, LTD.

Michelle first joined Hadassah in 1994 when she first moved to Millburn as a newlywed. Over the past 27 years she has chaired innumerable committees and events for the Millburn-Short Hills Tziona Chapter and ultimately became Chapter Treasurer and President. In 2013 Michelle was invited by National to become a member of its inaugural Hadassah Leadership Fellows class where she received specialized training from past National Presidents and was taken both on a mission to Israel and to Washington, DC to see Hadassah’s work first hand. After finishing the program, her work with local teen Hadassah members was showcased in a video shown at the National Convention in Atlanta in 2016.

At the Regional level, Michelle served as Membership Coordinator for Northern NJ Region in 2017 and also worked on a major gifts event. Later that year, Michelle was chosen by past National President Ellen Hershkin as her Henrietta Szold nominee to the National Board where she served for three years. As part of her Board work, Michelle sat on both the Finance and Pension Committees.

Professionally, Michelle is a Managing Director and Global Head of Origination and Advisory Strategic Initiatives in the Investment Banking Division of Deutsche Bank. She holds an AB degree in Economics and International Affairs from Lafayette College and an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Michelle and her husband Jim are Hadassah Founders and proud parents of three resilient children.
